After Much Pondering...

For several months I have toyed with the idea of starting a blog. I had the name instantly which led to many other ideas that will be shared in due time. As the ideas flourished in my mind, so did my fears; and so I put my ideas to rest and ignored my promptings. At the behest (nudge) of a dear friend, I have decided to dedicate this blog to sharing what my Mother, Father, Grandmother, and many others have taught me about etiquette and manners.

Hopefully there haven't been too many gasps...as of course I am no expert on this subject; I have learned through many an error and still have so much to learn. I was taught at a very young age however, that manners and etiquette were meant to make others feel comfortable and at ease in your presence...I have always loved that! I have fowled this up many times in my adult life as I'm sure I will continue to do...but I'd like to take you on a journey with me about what I have learned, what little I do know, and the vast knowledge I'd like to acquire.

I have long-term goals for this blog that are very dear to my heart and I hope that you'll go on this adventure with me and accept my many shortcomings and laugh with me as I make many mistakes. Undoubtedly I will learn more from you than I will teach anyone else!
